Trivia
Rennod’s ghost is a new exclamation of astonishment, one that refers to Richard Donner, the late director of The Goonies.
Tales of the Knights is mentioned as story serial that the kids enjoy. It is most likely the same one we saw Wim enjoy in the first episode. It also sounds like a nod to Tales Of The Jedi, a comic series taking place many thousands of years before the movies in the Legends timeline. That name and the Dark Horse Comics logo was reused for the animated series.
Jod finds a holo playing device with the same footage of The Holiday Special that we saw in the first episode. While we assumed it was reused footage, it was actually recreated to show angles not seen in the original special.
The kids, and later Jod later, are asked under which flag they fly. ‘Flag you fly‘ is an actual nautical term, and one fitting with pirate lore when the flag you flew under also displayed where your allegiance lay.
The tank used by the Hattan forces looks like an earlier model AAT and its original concept art.
There’s a second tank design that is a redress of the Imperial Troop Transport as seen in series including The Mandalorian.
The eopies we see are a variant species of the ones seen before on Tatooine. It’s likely that the ones with horns are males.
Fern starts correcting people who address her just by her name and says they should add Captain—that is very much like Captain Jack Sparrow from Pirates Of The Caribbean.
Within the camp you can spot a large green-white furry creature. Is this an adult version of Roona that we saw in Episode 1?
The blasters seen on At Achrann fire differently than standard blaster technology that we saw before.
Slap ball is a newly mentioned sport.
Last week’s episode told us that there are nine worlds considered to be the Jewels of the Old Republic. Besides At Attin, we now have learned of At Achrann, At Aytuu, At Arissia, At Aravin and At Acoda. This means we are still three worlds short.
