The High Republic era is now here and following today’s launch event we’ve learned plenty more news about what’s planned for the the coming months and years, with three phases – Light of the Jedi, Quest of the Jedi and Trials of the Jedi – framing the books, comics, graphic novels and more.

We were also shown concept images of new characters as well as the covers to forthcoming releases by Cavan Scott and Rachel Stott (the very D&D looking The Monsters of Temple Peak) Justina Ireland (Out of the Shadows) and Daniel Jose Older (Race To Crashpoint Tower).

We also had a first look at a new collaboration between writers Justina Ireland and Shima Shinya with art from Mizuki Sakakibara; The Edge of Balance, the first graphic novel in a new Manga series from Viz Media.

Check out the launch video below, which Kathleen Kennedy revealed at the top of the presentation.

We’re just as excited about The High Republic as you are, and stay tuned to Fantha Tracks as we delve into the era with our book and comic reviews and discuss the stories every month on Canon Fodder.
