BEWARE SPOILERS: Just like with the previous Disney Plus series, Fantha Tracks will be offering our own episode guide for your entertainment! Here we will post every reference, Easter egg, everything named and unnamed per episode and some fun trivia in-between that we have spotted.
Episode 11: Daughter Of Ferrix
Official summary: A fugitive once more, Cassian must make his next move before it is too late.
Trivia
The ship flying by the escaping Cassian and Melshi is a TIE Reaper. Which makes total sense as it is a troop carrier, ready to deploy forces to apprehend prisoners and escort them back. The TIE Reaper was developed for Rogue One.
Cassian and Melshi run into Freedi and Dewi Pamular during their escape. It is a bit unclear what their status is, but brothers seem likely with the last surname. However, while Dewi looks like a Keredian (as first seen by Cyced Ock, a Partisan in Rogue One), Freedi looks different enough to be from another species all together. It should also be noted that the language they speak is, according to the subtitles, Narkinian.
Freedi and Dewi Pamular are played by veteran Star Wars puppeteers Liam Cook and Matt Lyons.
It has been awhile that we were introduced to new slang and curses, but we have two new ones thanks to Freedi and Dewi: Scob (or scobbin) and snod.
Their ship is a Quadjumper, or if we go by its technical name a TUG-b13. This is the same kind of ship that Rey and Finn ran to in The Force Awakens, but got destroyed, causing them to use an old hunk of junk instead to make their escape.
Anto Kreegyr is seen for the first time in a hologram. Unfortunately, the end credits do not reveal the actor’s name.
The sleeping alien seen as Cassian sneaks in to retrieve his stuff, is a Blutopian.
In the wide shot of Saw’s base on Segra Milo you can spot Moroff walking.
The Cantwell-class Arrestor Cruiser was originally designed by Colin Cantwell to be used for A New Hope, but was not used in the end. It was picked up for Solo, but there the ship is only briefly seen in an Imperial recruitment video and in a deleted scene. This episode is really the first time we see it properly in live-action in full detail.
Captain Elk was played by Roger Barclay.
The Alderaan Trade Alliance is a new organization.
Because it looks like this will be the last time we are on Niamos, we do have to point out the things unseen here. When production was building the set at the beach front there were many more stalls seen with various items one could purchase. Our favorite being postcards featuring Ralph McQuarrie art. This was not the first time that his art was used in a tourism promotional way, as the original Star Tours had posters of his art also to show tourist destinations.
