Episode 9: Nobody’s Listening!
Official summary: Under intense scrutiny while imprisoned, Cassian makes allies plan an impossible escape.
Trivia
It is mentioned that Salman Paak attended a Separatist meeting Jondora. Jondora was mentioned once before in the game The Old Republic.
Dizon Fray, a moon in the Outer Rim from where the original recording for the torture came from, is a new planet and backstory.
Inside the Imperial Senate on Coruscant, it seems that the yellow Senate hovercam droids have been replaced by a new, dark metallic version.
There are also a couple of voices shouting in the background when Mon Mothma is speaking. They are not named, just numbered Senator 1 through Senator 4. The end credits do not mention them at all, making these additional voices, and most likely to be cameos. Perhaps David W. Collins was among them, as he has done so many times before.
Vel turns out to be a cousin of Mon Mothma. Mon Mothma’s extended family never really existed before, but she had a nephew in Legends called Kell Bircher. He was a spy for her who managed to sneak into the Imperial Navy and appeared in the Star Wars (2013) comic series.
Vel went to Tassio Moon and brought a dress back for Leida. Tassio, and its moon, is a new location.
Small error correction: last week we said Zinska (Mensah Bediako) is a senator at Mon Mothma’s rally party. Turns out that he was a prisoner on Narkina 5 who was barely glimpsed in last episode. He appears fully and better in this episode.
Davo Sculdun is also new.
The Imperial masking device stolen from the naval yard in Lozash, is new and not among the earlier mentioned ones.
Both Maya Pei and Anto Kreegyr, who were mentioned last week by Saw, are now mentioned again. Wlll they turn up in future episodes?
Anto Kreegyr was on his way to Kafrene. Kafrene, also named the Ring Of Kafrene, was seen in Rogue One and was the first time we saw Cassian in the movie.
The doctor’s name is Rhasiv, played by Adrian Rawlins. Rawlins has had many roles in his career, but you may know him best for playing James Potter, the father of Harry, in the Harry Potter franchise.
