Star Wars Celebration Europe brought a wide number of exclusives, and one of the most impresive was this, their Celebration Europe 2023 Topps Star Wars Galaxy Collectible Trading Cards box which contained 10 collectible trading cards featuring exclusive Star Wars artists. Let’s open the box and see what’s inside.

There are four boxes to colect and we were gifted the third box, Volume III. Inside we found 10 cards from a range of artists. Rose Tico on silver backing was by Jason Davies, number 24 in this Galaxy set. It’s also worth remembering, as Return of the Jedi celebrates 40 years this year, Topps Star Wars Galaxy celebrates 30.

Next, also on silver is card 26 by artist (and friend of Fantha Tracks) Jay Manchand. This shows Rey as she appeared in The Last Jedi, as does card 27 on silver by Jamie Murdock, showing Captain Phasma. Card 28 is by Marcia Dye, also on silver and from The Last Jedi. Card 29 on silver by Jamie Murdock shows Kylo Ren and his rebuilt mask, and just to say the artwork on show from all concerned is certainly up to the high levels of previous Galaxy releases.

On silver, Emperor Palpatine by Marica Dye shows the resurgent Sith in all his The Rise of Skywalker glory, card 30 of the set before we meet Amilyn Holdo on silver, card 25 by Jay Manchand as seen in The Last Jedi. She is joined by the purple variant of the card, number 16 of 299. By Marcia Dye, Supreme Leader Snoke is card 23, as seen in The Force Awakens and is on silver and the far rarer green variant, number 33 of 50.

Covering cards 23 to 30, this 10 card set offers a variety of characters from the Sequel Trilogy, with superb art from a quartet of artists and is well worth tracking down, as are the Galaxy sets which offer an insight into the Star Wars saga unlike any other release.

Thanks to the team at Topps UK for the review copy, it’s greatly appreciated, and we’ll bring more Topps news as and when it arrives.
