He has been in this fight since he was six years old! Ever since his father introduced him to the galaxy far, far away with The Empire Strikes Back he’s been absolutely hooked. The franchise inspired him to earn a degree in film, with the dream of one day helming a Star Wars film of his own.

Obi-Wan Kenobi and Ahsoka Tano are the characters he most identifies with, as they both seek to protect the light, despite the many hardships that have faced.

Aside from the films, Joey loves exploring the universe through the many novels that have been created over the years.

When Joey’s not busy pounding away on the keys of his computer, he is planning his next
cosplay, shooting photos, writing screenplays, adding to his Porg collection, or talking Star
Wars with his girlfriend, Paty, who went from “never watching a Star Wars film,” to becoming fanatic like himself.

And if you were wondering, Joey does enjoy binary sunsets and walks on the beaches of
Scarif.
