There’s only 37 short (or long) days to go until the third season of The Mandalorian arrrives on Disney Plus, and one of the seasons directors has spoken about her excitement for returning to the big chair. Bryce Dallas Howard is back, and as she posted to her Instagram, she’s ready and raring to go.

With her onscreen Jurassic World franchise at an end for now, and all three movies breaking the billion dollar barrier (only the second trilogy to have all three episodes hit $1 billion after the Sequel Trilogy), perhaps now she has the scope to focus on her directing career for a while and treat us to more high-quality Star Wars. Not to say her talents would be limited to purely behind-the-scenes endeavours: she voiced the venerable Yaddle in Tales of the Jedi, and an onscreen appearance from Bryce in live action Star Wars would be very welcome indeed. Ultimately, having her involved in the GFFA makes the galaxy a batter place, and thankfully we don’t have to wait too long to see what she brings us next.
