Star Wars episodes 7, 8 and 9 might not have been made at Elstree (so sadly no space for a Kylo Rennovations pun in this post), but Stages 7, 8 and 9 have reopened after extensive work to renovate those stages, bringing the venerable 100 year-old studio back to full strength and ready to dive into the next 100 years. With much of the original trilogy filmed within its walls and a list of productions as long as a sarlaccs tentacle, it’s heartening to see Elstree – a location that will always remain close to the hearts of saga fans – ready to push forward once agin.
