Speaking to Collider at the Palm Springs Film Festival, Mia Goth discussed her time filming Star Wars Starfighter, an experience that she described as “the most fun on a film set, I think, that I’ve ever had” alongside Ryan Gosling, Amy Adams and Matt Smith. Wrapping production by the end of 2025, the movie is now in post-production ahead of its release on 28th May 2027 – that’s just 507 days away. Goth described the energy that director Shawn Levy – currently riding the high on the Stranger Things finale – brought to the project.

“When you meet him, you can’t help but feel that electricity. It just rubs off on you, you know. And he has a way of working with his crew, and he’s so bonded to everyone around him, and we had such a blast. I think people are gonna really love the movie.”
