Last weekend, 5000 lucky Star Wars fans were able to watch one of the greatest movies of all time – The Empire Strikes Back – in the incredible surroundings of the Royal Albert Hall, home to the premier of The Last Jedi a couple of years ago.

The RAH have released these images – taken by photographer Andy Paradise – from the night.

Last weekend (21-23 September 2019), everyone’s favourite epic space opera once again landed at the Royal Albert Hall, as Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back in Concert disturbed the force in our auditorium.

Over five incredible shows the Philharmonia Orchestra and conductor Dirk Brossé brought John Williams’ epic score to life, taking those classic scenes to another level on the huge cinema screen above.

We thought you might like to relive your visit, so we brought in top photographer Andy Paradise to fulfill his destiny and capture the magic.

Don’t forget, the film and orchestra tour the UK in venues across the land beginning this Friday in Manchester and finishing next Wednesday in Liverpool.
