“These exceptional individuals have been major forces in television’s evolution,” said chair of the Hall of Fame Selection Committee, Rick Rosen. “It is our pleasure to honor them and celebrate their influence and impact on the growth of our industry across six decades of unprecedented change.”
Congratulations to Bob. It’s well worth remembering, Iger was at the helm at ABC when Lucasfilm brought the Young Indiana Jones Chronicles to TV, a show that not only expanded upon the legend of the roaming archaeologist but served as a testing ground for ILM to develop the technology that would eventually bring The Phantom Menace to cinema screens.
