It’s a wrap: Season 2 of The Mandalorian comes to a close as Dave Filoni confirmed to be directing

Gina Carano already posted an image from the set on the final day of shooting on The Mandalorian season two and now cinematographer Baz Idoine follows suit with this image taken from the set.

Note the name on the clapperboard, Dave Filoni. He is returning for the second season, expanding his own directing CV, but LFL’s Phil Szostak made an astute observation for those assuming that the image means Filoni has directed the final episode of the season.

Of course, he might have directed the final episode, but let’s not jump to conclusions. The Mandalorian returns in the autumn.
