As part of the team which changed the way TV is made with the first season of The Mandalorian, Deborah Chow took her extensive CV and unique eye, worked with the GFFA’s best and came out the other side of the experience with even more skills and the keys to the Kenobi series which starts shooting next year with just one director – Deborah Chow.

Talking with Heroic Hollywood she explained just how different the new show will be for her.

“It’s definitely going to be different. Just in terms of the sheer workload, obviously, of doing the whole thing. But in some ways, I’m going to miss having a team, and having people who are there to bounce ideas off of. But then obviously the flip side is, it is nice to have a coherent voice and know what you’re doing from beginning to end.”

With Ewan McGregor heavily hinting that Kenobi will employ StageCraft technology and Chow being one of the few directors to have worked with that tech so far the new show is certainly shaping up to be something special.
