Ewan McGregor confirms March 2021 start date for Kenobi

Appearing on tonight’s episode of The Graham Norton Show, Ewan McGregor was asked about the forthcoming Obi-Wan Kenobi TV series on Disney Plus, and we heard it from the bantha’s mouth – the show will start shooting in March 2021.

Ewan McGregor talks about playing Obi-Wan Kenobi again now that he’s almost the same age as Alec Guinness was when he played him originally.

Among the guests joining Graham in the studio and remotely: Hollywood star Ewan McGregor, back on the road for his latest travelogue Long Way Up; Shirley Ballas, telling all in her autobiography Behind the Sequins; dancer and presenter Ashley Banjo, promoting the new Diversity tour Connected; comedian Frank Skinner, retracing a great literary journey in Boswell & Johnson’s Scottish Road Trip; and music superstar Miley Cyrus, who chats and performs her current single Midnight Sky.
