From Darryl James, the brains behind Star Wars 100 Interviews comes Forcemania, a new channel which will delve deeper into the creatives behind the Star Wars saga. Today, Darryl catches up with Gary Pollard who worked on The Phantom Menace.

The Phantom Menace brought us a wider range of Star Wars creatures than we had never seen before. Gary Pollard of the U.K. sculpted several key characters from his home studio and Leavesden studio office. They were Jar Jar Binks, the Neimoidian species and an updated version of YODA.

In this new FORCEMANIA video, edited mostly by Gary’s own son, Alex, this is the full 20-minutes interview. It is jam-packed with behind-the-scenes footage and stills, plus several stories and new facts straight from the sculptor’s mouth.

FORCEMANIA is the sister channel to STAR WARS 100 INTERVIEWS, where host Darryl J James (DJ) was first to film with over one hundred performers who have been in Star Wars movies. (Mainly OT & PT trilogies). We will link the channel at the end of this vid so you can check out all of the interviews.
