Don’t be fooled – the look Matt Smith is currently sporting is not the look his character will be wearing in 2027’s Star Wars: Starfighter. Far from it, as is common practise with actors finishing movies, his ‘Star Wars‘ cut will have been trimmed away, leaving him with the style he displayed on yesterdays episode of This Morning, where quizzed by Dermot O’Leary (read his name in the X-factor voice) and Allison Hammond (who gave Harrison Ford and Ryan Gosling their best ever interviews) he gave a brief summation of his time on the film.
Matt Smith has wrapped Star Wars: Starfighter, and is talking about the physical change he had to make for the role. Despite it being a Star Wars film, he didn’t have to grow any extra arms or a pelt of fur…but he did have to get a haircut. He recently discussed his outer spacy stylings on ITV’s This Morning with hosts Dermot O’Leary and Allison Hammond.
The ‘do, which Smith will reportedly sport as some manner of intergalactic evildoer, is shaved on the sides and long-ish on the top; Smith described it as “daft.” He couldn’t say much more about the film, but lavished praise on the cast and crew, stating that the film is “…going to be really great, actually.”
