For a character who’s been around in various forms since 2008, Ahsoka Tano is about to receive the brightest of spotlights when she stars in her own spin-off in 2023, and speaking with Empire magazine at Celebration Anaheim, Rosario Dawson dipped into that, explaining how there’s plenty we still don’t know about the legendary Togruta.

“Dave and Jon are continuing Star Wars in a way where it can be standalone but it also makes you hungry for more. There have been two instances where she has shown up on a mission, you see how she’s interacting with folks, but you don’t really get her, per se. Even fans who’ve lived with her for so long don’t know where she’s at now in this journey.”

We know Ahsoka won’t be alone. Celebration footage revealed a glimpse of Hera Syndulla and confirmed Natasha Liu Bordizzo as the live action Sabine Wren, not to mention a new version of Chopper. What other characters will appear is unknown, but this is sure to drag Rebels fans to their screens as well as a Disney Plus audience increasingly used to regular GFFA content.
