Tony Gilroy and his favourite films

While it’s hardly surprising that Attack of the Clones isn’t Tony Gilroys favourite movie of all time, but the choices he does make may at the very least intrigue you, and chatting with TCM he runs down the films that influenced him as a filmmaker.

TCM’s guest programmer, Tony Gilroy, is known for his work on Michael Clayton, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, and the Emmy-nominated series, Andor. Mr. Gilroy explains his love for Klute (1971), how the character transformation in This Land Is Mine (1943) relates to his current project, and shares childhood memories surrounding Dead End (1937).
