The date for the sale of the Canadian arm of Toys R Us has been confirmed and Toyworld Mag takes a closer look at yet another benchmark for the once mighty retail giant.

Toys R Us has now submitted a document stipulating the details for the purchase of the Canadian equity sale.

Only the Canadian equity is specified, meaning that there is enough interest in Toys R Us Canada to have an auction, but there is no indication of the 200 US stores Toys that were part of previously discussed deals.

The auction itself will take place on 18th April at the offices of Kirkland & Ellis LLP, located at: 601 Lexington Avenue, New York, NY 10022.

The successful bidder will be revealed on the 23rd.
