He has won two Academy Awards, a Golden Globe, two Emmys, and three Grammys, among other honors. Göransson is recognized for his immersive approach to music, blending diverse traditions and sounds. His notable works include the scores for Black Panther (which earned him an Oscar, a Grammy, and a Golden Globe nomination) and Oppenheimer (which won him a Golden Globe, a Critics’ Choice Award, and a Grammy).
He also composed the score for The Mandalorian, Creed, and Venom, and produced for artists like Adele and Childish Gambino. Raised in Sweden and educated in music, Göransson’s career features collaborations with prominent figures like Donald Glover and Ryan Coogler. He is a founding partner at Proximity Media.
