Incredible numbers come in from the latest Prop Store auction as a screen-matched X-Wing fighter miniature from A New Hope sold for £1,938,000 ($2,375,000). It was the big fish in a series of lots that brought in a total of $10.2M (£8.2M).

Propstore – one of the world’s leading film and TV memorabilia companies – has today announced the results from the first day (yesterday, Tuesday June 21st) of one of the world’s largest live auctions of film and TV memorabilia, with items on offer fetching over $10.2m (£8.2m). The auction continues live over the next three days.

Propstore’s Entertainment Memorabilia Live Auction is being held across four days, Tuesday 21st – Friday 24th June 2022, at their US headquarters in Valencia, California.

Hundreds of bidders from around the world took part in Propstore’s live auction, with bidding taking place live in the auction room, via phone and online. The auction achieved incredible results after one day of exciting and intensive bidding. Over 480 rare and iconic lots were offered on day one of Propstore’s Entertainment Memorabilia Live Auction, with over 1,300 more lots of film and TV memorabilia to be offered over the next three days, including comic books and comic book art to be sold on Friday 24th June.
