Our good pal Albin Johnson brings us more R2-KT coin collecting news, and this time it’s the return of a coin that’s not been available for a dozen years.

Hello Droid Friends!

It’s been twelve years since the original R2-KT coins were offered to the Star Wars community. First in silver, which we re-released last year. Now we are ready to do the gold edition for those that have asked. Original design by esteemed artist Thomas Spanos, one side features the classic KT logo, the other side a beautiful line art portrait of Katie, our droid’s namesake. It brings great joy to finally make these again. The weathering and detail make them very precious to me and I carry one as my challenge coin. Twelve years has been long enough of a wait, so I’m happy to finally make them available again to Star Wars fans everywhere.

Order info:
* Gold coins are $8 apiece due to the extra cost of the weathering finish and gold paint on the heart symbol (or $6 apiece for orders of five or more, $5 apiece for orders of ten or more).
* Shipping is $3 per every five coins shipped in the U.S. ($6 for up to five coins outside the U.S. – please email us at r2kt@r2kt.com for a quote on shipping 6 or more coins)
* Pre-order yours by sending payment via PayPal to r2kt@r2kt.com
* coins are 1.5″ in diameter with a beautiful antique finish in pink and gold
* all proceeds 100% benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation
* Pre-orders end September 20th. Coins ship in Late October.

Feel free to email us at r2kt@r2kt.com with any questions. All available items can be found at www.r2kt.com/r2-kt-stuff/

We have updated charity totals for 2020 coming out soon. As always, thank you for supporting KT’s Mission of Hope. We hope you are all staying safe and in good spirits!
