Regal Robot bring us their latest incredible maquette, his excellency the great Jabba the Hutt, available to order from this evening over at the Regal Robot site.

Regal Robot is proud to offer our new Jabba the Hutt™ Concept Maquette Replica – Numbered Edition. The second statue in our Maquette Collection, this fully painted solid, heavy resin maquette is limited to only 250 pieces is a 1:1 recreation of Phil Tippett’s original concept sculpture that set the design for this iconic Star Wars™ character!

Fans were first introduced to this maquette in behind the scenes photos and television specials. This early concept depicts the mighty crime lord on his dais, hands clasped and surrounded by vases and stones. After examining the original maquette among the artifacts from the production of Star Wars: Return of the Jedi™, our replica sculpture was painstakingly digitally recreated from extensive photographs and measurements.

Cast in solid resin and made in the USA, each Jabba the Hutt Maquette is hand painted, making each a unique tribute to the artistry involved behind the scenes of our favorite films.

Each statue in this limited edition includes a hand numbered metal plaque and is hand packed in a kraft box with full color insert and COA.
