Since 1st November and running through to 31st December the 501st Legion have been raising funds for World Central Kitchen, and on the weekend of 17th and 18th December they kick off their 2022 fundraiser, the 501st Legion Life Day Telethon. There are a lot of guests – a LOT of guests – and here’s a look at some of the stars involved in the event, including our very own Mark Newbold who can be heard at 11.00am UK time (6.00am Eastern) on Sunday 18th alongside Farthest From’s Dave Tree, Darth Revan designer John Gallagher and BB-8 performer Brian Herring on the In Our Stockings panel.

Here’s the two-day schedule.

One of the greatest challenges across the globe today is that of world hunger. According to the World Food Programme,…”up to 828 million people do not have enough food and 50 million people are facing emergency levels of hunger.” This Life Day, the 501st Legion comes together to confront this challenge, to do what we can to help our communities and support those who need it most.

Be sure to check out as much of the stream as you can, and here’s the link to donate to this incredible fundraiser.
