I thought it was coming to an end, however, that’s far from the case.
Today, I’m delighted to announce that A Star Wars Improv Show: The One-Man Made-Up Movie Parody is extending its tour into Christmas of 2027.
There are over 75 dates that have been added for the 50th anniversary year of the franchise, and I’m incredibly grateful that the show was picked up by a production company over summer with a producer and a director coming on board. There are new production values, a bigger budget and a new format to the show that started its life as a little experiment at the Edinburgh Fringe in 2025.
We’ve also moved up a gear with some massive theatres being announced. These are venues that I could only dream of playing when I first started playing stand-up gigs all those years ago.
If you’ve seen the show, you’ll know what to expect. It does at it says on the tin and I improvise a brand-new Star Wars film based solely on audience suggestions. It’s silly, ridiculous fun and celebration of our fandom and geekdom. I’m biased, obviously, but I love the show and it’s fun for all the family so you can bring the little ‘uns along, just as Star Wars was meant to be.
From September to December of this year, the show will play the following theatres:
Tuesday 22nd September – Queen’s Theatre, Hornchurch
Wednesday 23rd September – Queen’s Theatre, Hornchurch
Thursday 24th September – Cambridge Junction, Cambridge
Sunday 27th September – Wardrobe Theatre, Bristol
Tuesday 29th September – Harrogate Theatre, Harrogate
Thursday 8th October – Woolwich Works, London
Wednesday 14th October – Old Town Hall, Hemel Hempstead
Sunday 18th October – Stage Two Theatre, Norwich
Saturday 28th November – G-Live Bellerby Studio, Guildford
Friday 11th December – Pound Arts Theatre, Corsham
Saturday 12th December – Phoenix Theatre, Exeter
A few of the films that ‘played’ during the Edinburgh Festival were:
STAR WARS: EPISODE 48 – JURASSIC WARS
STAR WARS: EPISODE 9.8 – I LOVE YOU, BUT WHY?
STAR WARS: EPISODE 39 – SOMEHOW, DARTH MACLUNKY HAS RETURNED
STAR WARS: EPISODE 548 – SURELY, THIS CAN’T BE MILKED FOR MUCH LONGER
STAR WARS: EPISODE 3.5 – CAPTAIN REX AND THE LAST CRUSADE
So, have your lightsabers at the ready. Come armed with ideas and leave your troubles at the door.
If there’s not a town near you on this list, it’ll probably be in 2027 as we gear up for a year’s worth of shows the breadth and depth of the country and beyond.
Tickets are on SALE NOW at the respective venues box office.
MAY THE FORCE BE WITH YOU!
