Black Park Film Walk: 1st September 2022

Black Park Country Park, the location of numerous classic sequences in modern cinema is hosting two walks, one designed for children and another suitable for older children and adults which takes visitors through the site to show where these classic scenes including a number from Star Wars took place. The adult walk is 120 minutes long and takes place from 2.00pm – 4.00pm, while the children’s walk is 90 minutes and runs from 10.00 to 11.30am.

Black Park has played host to a great number of major film, television and music productions over the years, join us to explore this history.

Pinewood studios sits immediately adjacent to Black Park, and since the studios first opened, film crews have used the park for location filming. Productions popular with children that have filmed here over the years include: Harry Potter, Marvel, Jurassic World Dominion and Star Wars. Join us for a walk and talk around Black Park to look at some of these popular locations.

On the walk you will be led by a member of the Country Parks team who has been involved with many of the visiting productions in recent years. They will bring their unique insight of filming in the park to life through their talk, slides and stories.
