The team at Virtual Cantina bring even more good news as more guests are announced. Ahsoka stars Dawn Dininger and TaMara Carlson Woodard  are coming to Boonta Eve Special Edition Hollywood: Heroes of the Filoniverse on 29th July 2024 at Scum & Villiany Cantina in Hollywood, CA.

The Virtual Cantina Network, owners of the World’s Largest Star Wars Celebration Fan Page, are proud to announce that Dawn Dininger & TaMara Carlson Woodard will be appearing at Boonta Eve Special Edition Hollywood: Heroes of the Filoniverse on 29 July, 2024 at Scum & Villiany Cantina in Hollywood, CA.

Dawn Dininger is known for her role as the prisoner Rodian in the “Book of Boba Fett” as well as the mom Rodian and the oboe playing Bith. She has puppeteered various characters in the Mandalorian series including Lt Beyta and Lt Mowaat in “Ahsoka”, and a Desk Jockey and Rodian Customer in “The Mandalorian”. The highlight being a part of the Grogu puppeteering team. Besides the Star Wars franchise, she has appeared as Monster Marie in “One Mised Call” worked as a fabricator on such films as “Ted 2”, “Wolverine Origins”, “Suicide Squad”, “Captain America: Civil War” and much more.

TaMara Carlson-Woodard is a Los Angeles-based practical creature effects artist and performer, specialty costumer, and puppeteer.

Since 2018, she has worked in a galaxy far, far away as a puppeteer and suit performer on “The Mandalorian” and “The Book of Boba Fett” where she appeared as everyone’s favorite blue, keyboard-playing Ortolan, Max Rebo. TaMara is also part of the Emmy Award-winning team from Legacy Effects that brought Grogu (aka “Baby Yoda”) to life via fabrication and puppeteering. Additionally, she contributed to the creation and performances of Frog Lady, the Gamorrean Guards, and countless background creatures and droids.

Dawn and TaMara join fellow actors Jeryl Prescott (Aktropaw in “Ahsoka”), Katy O’Brian (Elia Kane in “The Mandalorian “, Omid Abtahi (Dr Pershing in “The Mandalorian “), Galen Howard (Desk Clerk in “The Book of Boba Fett”, Eyad Elbitar (Stunts for Temura Morrison, Chris Bartlett (Q9-0 and other Droids, Misty Rosas (Kuill/The Frog Lady), Leilani & Ariel Shiu (Jawas), Lauren Mary Kim (“Ahsoka Motion Capture” in Clone Wars Season 7, Barry Lowin (Principal Actor/The Mandalorian), Marti Matulis (Vane the Pirate), Michelle Lee (Stunts for Ahsoka in “Ahsoka”), Nelson Lee (Senator Xiono in “Ahsoka”), Pamm Riddle and Warren Prolux Jr. (Various Characters in the Disney+ Star Wars shows.) as part of this special Boonta Eve titled “Heroes of the Filoniverse”, celebrating the work of Star Wars CCO, Dave Filoni.

This event is in conjunction with the VCN’s Family Vacation last week July, 2024 starting from Los Angeles, going to Anaheim, then ending in San Francisco with a photo at the infamous Yoda Statue at Lucasfilm.
