If you were there in 2016 and 2023 at the O2 in London, you’ll know what a blisteringly great time is ahead when #CANTINA returns for the third time in 2027 in Los Angeles, and this time round Mark, Jed, Martin and James have really upped the ante. Partnering with the 501st Legion, Rebel Legion, Mando Mercs, Dark Empire, Saber Guild, and Droidbuilders #CANTINA is hosting the The 2027 Joint Club Bash, and as the information below shows, that means attendees are in for an amazing night when the party comes to the Belasco in LA on Friday 2nd April 2027.

#CANTINA, THE PREMIER GIG FOR STAR WARS FANS, LANDS IN LA FOR THE FIRST TIME; PARTNERS WITH “THE BASH”; AND CONFIRMS PERFORMANCES FROM DJ ELLIOT, THE FLUX CAPACITORS AND OZMA.

After two triumphant sold-out events in London, the gig for Star Wars fans #CANTINA, returns for its 3rd edition at the Belasco in LA on Friday 2 April 2027. Taking place during the Star Wars Celebration weekend, and within walking distance from the convention centre, the one-off concert features established international bands, DJs and names celebrating Star Wars and geek fandom.

Additionally, for this very special event #CANTINA is proud to be hosting “The 2027 Joint Club Bash”, the VIP event for The 501st Legion, The Rebel Legion, The Mando Mercs, The Dark Empire, Saber Guild, and the Droidbuilders.

Confirmed for #Cantina3 so far are:

Ozma: From Pasadena, California, the band’s sound is a mix of nostalgic new wave–influenced power pop and contrapuntal Casiotone-driven melodies sustained by heavy guitar riffs. Since their formation in 1995, Ozma has released five studio albums and toured the U.S., Japan and Canada more than thirty times, including extensive touring with like-minded groups including Weezer, Nada Surf, Rilo Kiley, Superdrag, The Rentals, The Get Up Kids, Piebald, Saves The Day, Asian Kung-Fu Generation, and Rooney. Famous for their legendary power-pop track “Natalie Portman” Ozma delivers the perfect blend of nostalgic synth riffs and heavy rock hooks. When Ozma announced their 2024 LA Troubadour Residency, tickets for the initial two nights sold out almost instantly. Demand was so overwhelming that the band had to scramble to add a 3rd night. Ozma playing #Cantina3 is a testament to their love of Star Wars. Star Wars fans will need to get tickets for this before it becomes common knowledge and the Ozma fans scoop up what remains!

DJ Elliot: Known as one of the top Pop Culture DJ’s in the world, DJ Elliot specialises in a mix of EDM, Top 40, Mashups and “nerd-centric” tunes. DJ Elliot is well known to the Star Wars fandom for fronting “The Show before the Show” on Celebration’s main stage. #Cantina will be DJ Elliot’s only appearance outside of Celebration itself.

The Flux Capacitors: The Flux Capacitors will be crossing the streams for #Cantina and leaning heavily into their love of Star Wars (they will likely be “the Force Capacitors” for the night) and bringing their 80’s, 90’s and Pop Culture musical influence to ensure that #Cantina is the hottest party in the outer rim. Veterans of “The Bash” you know you are guaranteed an amazing time when the Flux Capacitors are on stage.

Major international touring band to be announced soon!

Also, as with all previous #Cantina events, more guests will be announced closer to the event!. So on April 2nd 2027 fans are invited to #Cantina’s hidden base in the Belasco to celebrate the destruction of the most powerful battlestation in the galaxy with friends from a galaxy far, far away.
