Echo Base LIVE 15: John Simpkin is coming to Redditch

Echo Base LIVE is back for its 15th event on Saturday 12th October 2024 with Echo Base LIVE: Endor Adventure, and joining this sure-to-be memorable Ewok adventure is Endor Stormtrooper John Simpkin from Return of the Jedi. You can meet him at Europe’s most famous collecting event in just over three weeks time.

John Simpkin – Stormtrooper
John appeared in Return of the Jedi, he played Klaatu in the Jabba’s Palace scenes and also appeared as a Stormtrooper.
He has worked on film and TV as a background actor and stand-in for over twenty years, working as a stand-in/double for some major stars including Mel Gibson, Christian Slater, Gary Oldman, Rupert Everett and Tom Cruise.
His acting appearances include, several Bond films, Flash Gordon, Superman, Supergirl, The Legend and Hamlet (Franco Zefferelli).
John will be join us all day, signing autographs and answering your questions.
