Festival of the Force returns to the Newark Showground on Saturday 31st January 2026, and joining the activities after the cancellation of Paul Brooke is the performer behind a Gamorrean Guard in Return of the JediHugh Spight.

At Festival of the Force, our mission is to deliver an unforgettable, immersive experience for Star Wars fans right here in the UK. As the largest convention of its kind, our central location makes it easily accessible to enthusiasts from across the nation! We are passionate about celebrating the vast and iconic Star Wars universe while building a strong sense of community among collectors, fans, and cosplayers of all ages. With a galaxy of Star Wars merchandise, celebrity appearances, and fan-led events, we strive to connect all Force wielders to ignite the excitement of the fandom.

Hugh joins Paul SpringerJack Klaff, Paul Casey, Jimmy Vee, Femi Taylor, Richard Oldfield, Garrick Hagon, Jamie Glover, Silas Carson, Robert Emms, Toby Philpott, Jay Manchand and Tim Rose at the show, Fantha Tracks will once again be at the event (I’m hosting the Festival talk stage for the third time), and we’ll see you in less than a week.
