Film & Comic Con Cardiff arrives at the Motorpoint Arena on 22nd to the 23rd September and stars from the Star Wars galaxy will be in attendance. Joining the galactic guest list is a man who has been a part of each trilogy, including one iconic character.
Puppeteer Mike Quinn has worked on some great projects such as The Great Muppet Caper (1981), The Dark Crystal (1982) and appeared as a few characters, including Nien Nunb on Star Wars: Episode VI – Return of the Jedi (1983) and assisted Frank Oz with the evergreen lovable Yoda. More recently he has returned to the role of Nien Numb in The Force Awakens and The Last Jedi.
He’s also worked on A Bug’s Life (1998), and one of his finest moment at Pixar was most definitely developing and animating on the 1950s style TV puppet show Woody’s Round Up on Toy Story 2 (1999).
As a member of George Lucas’s ILM, he first worked on animating the famed dinosaurs in Jurassic Park III (2001), then moved on to animate on Yoda along with many other creatures in Star Wars: Episode II – Attack of the Clones (2002).
