*So what I told you was true…from a certain point of view.
The real Mr. Lucas is busy putting the finishing touches on the Lucas Museum of Narrative Art but comedian Connor Ratliff will appearing at this year’s Edinburgh Fringe Festival with the wildly successful The George Lucas Talk Show.
The show has recently been playing residencies in New York and London and became an online phenomena during the pandemic. In the show, Ratliff appears as George Lucas and his sidekick Watto, to interview a massive array of famous faces. Previous guests include Weird Al Jankovic, David Harbour, Kevin Smith, Whoopi Goldberg and Ahmed Best. The show has also appeared at New York Comic Con, San Francisco Sketchfest and most notably has raised over $250,000 for charity.
No two shows are the same, and this year the show will be playing for a limited engagement. The dates are Friday 4th, 11th, 18th and 25th August at the Assembly George Square Studios (Studio Two) at 11.35pm.
