Take plenty of water, you’ll be needing it as Les Dunes Electroniques plans to take you to Mos Espa – or to be more specific the edge of Tunisia’s southern desert of Ong Jmel in North Africa – for a 30 hour rave. Boss Hunting takes a closer look.

Les Dunes Electroniques is a 30-hour non-stop rave at Luke Skywalker’s fictional home of Mos Espa in the deserts of Tatooine, which in reality is a village at the edge of Tunisia’s southern desert of Ong Jmel in North Africa.

First taking place in 2014, the event – which is a joint project from the Handicrafts of the Republic of Tunisia and the country’s Ministry of Tourism – will feature 30 local and international artists from the electronic scene over the dates of September 21-22 later this year.

Tickets start from AU$72 and can be purchased from dunes-electronics.com

If any Fantha Tracks readers get to this years event, be sure to send us some images.
