The last transport has exited The Halcyon as the Disney Galactic Starcruiser hotel and experience closed its doors for the last time.

Star Wars Celebration host, and Disney Parks legend, Mark Daniel took to his social media to mark his own farewell to The Halcyon.

I was lucky enough to witness the very last Transport exit atmosphere on its journey to the Halcyon. It’s shiny hull reflecting the solar rays from Ubatt 2. Knowing those final passengers would never see my farewell, I couldn’t help but say thank you & wave goodbye.

To the Cast, the Crew, the Creatives, Every Traveler and Everyone touched by this experience, please take a moment to reflect on your contributions. And as the Crew of the Halcyon prepares to make that final jump to Hyperspace from Batuu’s orbit, know you’ve added your story to: The History of the Galaxy… Parts 1, 2, & 3.

“May the Spires keep you”

Stay tuned for our own tribute to the Halcyon here on the site and Fantha Tracks Radio over the weekend.
