How do you pay tribute to a man who’s creative output changed the landscape of geek culture with the creation of Spider-Man, the X-Men, the Avengers, the Hulk, Daredevil, the list goes on and on. You involve the team at Legion M and bring in talents like Kevin Smith, the Into The Spider-verse team and lifelong comic book fan Mark Hamill.

Mark Hamill, Kevin Smith, RZA, the creative team from Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, Clark Gregg, Felicia Day, Bill Duke, and cast members from Marvel’s The Runaways, FX’s Legion, and Fox’s The Gifted are all set to appear at Excelsior! A Celebration of the Amazing, Fantastic, Incredible & Uncanny Life of Stan Lee.

Spider-Verse writer-producer Phil Lord and his movie partner Chris Miller will rep the Oscar-nominated animated film with producers Avi Arad and Amy Pascal for the IMAX Theatre portion of the tribute at the TCL Chinese Theatre in Hollywood.

Additional attendees will include producers Lauren Shuler Donner and Derek Hoffman, Deadpool co-creator Rob Liefeld, The Dark Knight executive producer Michael Uslan, X-Men executive producer Tom DeSanto, Blade creator Marv Wolfman, Marvel’s Chief Creative Officer Joe Quesada, Marvel’s Head of Television Jeph Loeb, Elektra: Assassin artist Bill Sienkiewicz, and Lee’s business partner at Stan Lee’s POW! Entertainment, Gill Champion.

A few tickets remain via the Legion M website, so if you are able to attend, make sure you do and honour a man who changed the galaxy for us all.
