We’ve been pals with Jez Allinson – aka the Running Stormtrooper – for many years, being there right at the very beginning as he formulated a crazy (and incredibly challenging) project, to run miles and miles and miles and miles for charity dressed as an Imperial Stormtrooper. That journey has taken Jez around the world, running numerous marathons, around Pinewood Studios, to Star Wars Celebration and beyond, and this Sunday at the Sir John Hedges Suite, George Hotel on the High St, Wallingford OX10 0BS, Jez will present his inspirational talk.

You can be there and save 10% on tickets (and there’s not many left, so don’t delay) by entering the special code FANTHA when ordering your tickets here.

Jez Allinson, aka The Running Stormtrooper who Fantha Tracks have covered in the past running the London Marathon, Ultra Runs at Pinewood Studios, his 1000 mile challenge in 2020 and his treadmill running on the Star Wars Live stage at Celebration London 2023 has joined forces with the UK Garrison and will be holding a very special event in Wallingford, Oxford on Sunday evening. As with all his endeavours, every penny raised will be going to Make-A-Wish.

In addition to being supported by the UK Garrison, Jez will be sharing his highly praised ‘Running Stormtrooper Story’, one of the most positive and inspirational Star Wars fan stories in the galaxy. If that’s not enough to tempt you, Jez has managed to acquire over 35 fantastic prizes for a raffle (just £1 a ticket) and 2 prizes for auction including a framed Return of the Jedi 1982 storyboard complete with Certificate of Authenticity, donated by PropStore.

Tickets are still available for this wonderfully unique event, and by entering the special code FANTHA when ordering your tickets you can get 10% off.

This event is suitable for all and promises to be one of the most uplifting Star Wars stories you’ll see for a very long time.
