MCM Birmingham Comic Con: Catching-up with the Galactic Senate: 25 Years of the UK Garrison panel

Sunday 30th November will not only be the final day of what’s sure to be another busy and fun-packed MCM Birmingham Comic Con, but it will also see a very special panel take to the Cosplay Central Stage as the UK Garrison celebrate 25 years along with fellow members of the UK Star Wars costuming community. I’m proud to say that I’ll be moderating the panel, so head on over to Cosplay Central and help celebrate a quarter of a century of the 501st in the UK.

Catching-up with the Galactic Senate: 25 Years of the UK Garrison

Blasters polished? Armour shining? The UK Garrison is celebrating 25 years of bringing the Star Wars galaxy to life, and you’re invited to join the celebration! Hear stories from the front lines of fan events, charity missions, and trooping adventures across the Empire. From stormtroopers to Sith Lords, this is your chance to catch up with the folks who’ve been keeping the Force alive (and looking sharp) for a quarter of a century. No Jedi mind tricks required; just come along for the ride!

Exploring the galaxy since 1978, Mark wrote his first fan fiction in '81 and been a presence online since his first webpage Fanta War in 1996. He currently contributes to ILM.com and SkywalkerSound.com, having previously written for Star Wars Insider, StarWars.com, Star Wars Encyclopedia, Build The Millennium Falcon, Starburst Magazine, Geeky Monkey, TV Film Memorabilia and Model and Collectors Mart.
