If you’re heading to the NEC this coming weekend to enjoy everything that MCM Birmingham Comic Con has to offer, then you’ll not only want to head to the Star Wars corner of the show where you can play a hand of sabacc and meet the UK Garrison, Rebel Legion, Mando Mercs, Droid Builders, Dark Empire and Saber Guild, who will be battling good and evil (and raising a few credits for charity while they’re doing it) but you can also aim for the Cosplay Central stage at 4.00pm on Saturday where I’ll be hosting the ‘Costuming Across The Galaxy‘ panel with Michael Cullen (UKG), Mark Mulcaster (Rebel Legion Elstree Base and Making Tracks) and Wayne Marper (Mando Mercs Vok’Chi Clan) to discuss the differences and similarities of costuming for these three clubs.

Sat, Nov 30, 2024
4:00 PM – 4:30 PM
Cosplay Central
Join Michael Cullen, Mark Mulcaster and Wayne Marper and learn more about three of the biggest Star Wars costume clubs in the United Kingdom – the 501st’s UK Garrison, Rebel Legion Elstree Base and Mando Mercs Vok’Chi Clan – as they take you through the process of putting together costumes from their respective clubs, what they’re looking for and the similarities and differences between the three clubs and the costumes you can build to join.

Hear our coverage of the event and much more on the 211th episode of Making Tracks, out next Tuesday.
