Reedpop have decided to cancel MCM London Comic Con, due to take place at the ExCeL in October due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.

MCM London Comic Con is not just an event that happens twice a year, it is a community of loving, passionate, and creative fans who inspire us every day. You make us laugh, you make us cry, and you make sure our eyes are opened to what’s important in the world. The MCM community, our community, means everything to us, and because of that our main goal has always been to put on the best events for you as possible.

After many discussions we have made the incredibly tough decision to cancel MCM London October 2020. It has become clear that due to the restrictions and guidelines put in place due to COVID-19 we would not be able to deliver the high quality experience you expect and deserve. We are heartbroken that we won’t get to spend a weekend with you at the ExCel, meeting your heroes and making new friends, but we will return and we will continue to create a safe and accepting space for everyone.

Although we can’t be with you physically, we aren’t going anywhere! We are still here online to bring you amazing experiences and all the pop-culture content you love. We can’t wait to celebrate with you in August for a special digital event (Shhh, Spoilers!) and promise to keep the community we all love alive.

Thank you for sticking by us, thank you for your patience, and thank you for continuing to inspire us with your dedication and strength. Until we see you again, stay safe, stay kind, and take care of each other.

Let’s hope things settle enough that we can all congregate next year at an MCM event and celebrate our fandoms again with fiends.
