Over the weekend of 9th – 10th December Farthest From returns to Fordingbridge Town Hall for the 25th time and to celebrate this very special quarter-century of shows they’re bringin’ out the big guns. Pablo Hidalgo – yes, the Pablo Hidalgo – is coming to Farthest From, officially sanctioned by Lucasfilm for the only UK signing of his new book Dawn Of The Rebellion, out 5th December 2023 from DK Books.
Coming this 9th & 10th of December is the Star Wars Weekender Event in Fordingbridge, Hampshire, an annual event that helps raise funds for The Salvation Army Christmas Present Appeal.
Star Wars fans of all ages join together at Fordingbridge Town Hall for the Charity Fun Day on Saturday with an incredible line up of Special Guests, Traders and Costumers, whilst Sunday sees the return of Farthest From, the only show in the UK that is 100% dedicated to Star Wars toy collecting and memorabilia from its original release in the 70’s and 80’s.
Joining for his first ever signing event in the UK will be author Pablo Hidalgo with copies of his latest book “Dawn Of The Rebellion” by DK Publishing, a deep dive into a turbulent era of the Star Wars galaxy charting the rise of the Rebellion from the prequel trilogy through Star Wars: Obi-Wan Kenobi, Star Wars: Andor, and Rogue One: A Star Wars Story.
Pablo, Senior Creative Executive, Franchise & Story at Lucasfilm, is often referred as the “Star Wars Lore Advisor”, consulting on Star Wars projects in development across film, TV, Gaming, Book/ Comic media and their integration in the larger Star Wars canon and mythology.
