With the 50th anniversary of the saga racing up on us and the bold ambitions of the Saga Museum developing day by day, the team at Rancho Obi-Wan are looking to expand the team and bring in a California-based dedicated and go-getting Social Media & Marketing Lead ready to take on the challenge of not only helping Rancho and the Saga Museum develop into the future, but also to, ‘learn from great work of the Jedi Masters who have come before‘. Could that be you?

Rancho Obi-Wan is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) museum in Petaluma, California housing the world’s largest Star Wars memorabilia collection. Our team is small, but growing. Our goals are big, hairy, and audacious–but incredibly fun! Our work style is start-up and scrappy, but allows, and values, unique personalities. Our mission is worthy of our hard work.

We are a small museum that innovates and iterates and are building the foundation that will serve the future. We offer a unique opportunity to create something special from the ground-up in a virtually blank-canvas environment. We seek people who are comfortable at both speaking up and also listening, applying tenacity but also having the patience of a Jedi, innovative with fresh ideas that don’t cling to the status-quo while also curious to learn from great work of the Jedi Masters who have come before, and who enjoy going through mountains of Star Wars treasures to help us preserve, share, and inspire our guests.

We’re not a 100-year old museum with a huge endowment, but that’s what we intend to build with The Saga Museum of Star Wars Memorabilia! We have a collection that is unique and known all over the world, and we’re at the early stages of taking this to a whole new level. If this excites you and you would like to play a vital role in a remarkable endeavor, please apply below.
