Not that we ever have a shortage of things to occupy our time on May the 4th, but if you’re in the Glasgow area and have a hankering to hear classic Star Wars themes played at full tilt by a world-class orchestra, then head to Glasgow City Halls and get your fill, as that’s where you’ll find the BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra performing Star Wars: An Orchestral Saga, and a sumptuous feast of music it is.

Prepare for lift-off as John Williams’ iconic scores from Star Wars take flight with the forces of the BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra and 60+ singers of the National Youth Choir of Scotland!

From white-knuckle rides in the Millennium Falcon to heart-wrenching love themes, the Oscar-winning composer’s music has enchanted audiences for almost five decades. Here is the definitive live concert, showcasing your favourite themes from the entire Star Wars saga, from Episode IV: A New Hope (1977) to a rare performance of music from the latest Episode IX: The Rise of Skywalker (2019).
