Star Wars Celebration Japan 2025: Galactic Senate Stage schedule

For the first time, costuming groups have their very own stage at Star Wars Celebration, which means the official Star Wars costuming groups (Rebel Legion, 501st Legion, Galactic Academy, Mando Mercs, Saber Guild, Dark Empire) have a track all to themselves. Here’s the schedule for the three days of Celebration Japan.

Join the Saber Guild and teach young newcomers the use of lightsabers and the Force. They have the opportunity to learn lightsaber moves and the power of the Force. Costume designers, prop builders and makers from around the world, coming together in an open discussion on a variety of costuming tips, tricks, How to’s, overcoming the fear of starting a costume to wearing it. Insight into what goes into creating and costuming. What to look for, and where! From fabrics, plastics, 3D printing and everything in between.

In celebration of the 20th anniversary of Episode 3, the Rebel Legion Galactic Senate presents a fashion show of screen-accurate dignitary costumes from the prequels, like Queen Amidala and her handmaidens! Then, costumers will explain how they created their costumes to help you start your own costuming journey to the Galactic Senate.

We are The Dark Empire! Join us as we dive into the darkness that makes up the costumes you’d find in this major LFL recognized Star Wars Costuming club, and more importantly WHY! From Custom and Canon Force using Sith to the Pirates, Thieves, Dark Magik Practitioners, Bounty Hunters, Crimelords, Dark Jedi and Smugglers. If you deal in the darkness and move in the shadows, and love volunteer charity work and creative costuming freedom, The Dark Empire is the club for you!
