Our friends over at theswca.com have released details of a Year Book-style project available to purchase at Celebration in Chicago. Organised by the Collecting Track Committee Martin Thurn writes:

The Collecting Track at Celebration Chicago invites you to be part of the first-ever Star Wars Collectors Yearbook. This print publication will among other things help everyone put names to faces once and for all — no more hiding behind online personas! Do not miss your chance to get in on the ground floor of this elite opportunity.

Send your submissions no later than Feb. 20th to collectingtrack@gmail.com according to the attached rules. Yearbooks will be available for purchase at the Collectors Stage at Celebration Chicago for a very low price to help us offset the printing costs. See you in April!

To feature in this book you need to send the following to collectingtrack@gmail.com

  1. One recent yearbook style photo, head and shoulders shot
  2. Full name to be published – no online names
  3. The year you started collecting Star Wars items
  4. One of the following facts about you:
    • your favourite collectible item
    • your collecting focus
    • your holy grail item that you are seeking to add to your collection

The collecting track at Celebration is usually the place to be to mix with other like minded collectors and where you can hear panels on a range of vintage and modern Star Wars items. During past Celebrations they’ve been responsible for the highly desirable Star Tots and coins giveaways.
