Saturday 15th November saw a special event take place at EURO-TOY Sagamihara (2-7-5 Sagami-Ono, Minami-ku, Sagamihara, Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan) which gave Star Wars fans the chance to take a look at the new – and officially licenced – DA VINCI 6.0 STAR WARS EDITION camper van, of which there are only 5 in the world.

This event was held at night, outside of normal business hours. The main attraction, the “DA VINCI 6.0 STAR WARS EDITION,” was on display by itself inside the Eurotoy Sagamihara store, where the event was held. The atmosphere inside the store, which is usually lined with large imported camper vans, was specially lit up to match the world of Star Wars, giving it a completely Star Wars-themed feel.

The core of the event was a talk session. Ayumi Kadoya from Toy Factory’s Technical Department, who was in charge of development, and Takashi Fujii, representing the fans, took to the stage. Takashi Fujii is a well-known Star Wars fan who runs the Star Wars fan site “Star Wars Weblog” and even won the Star Wars Cult Quiz World Championship by answering every question correctly. He was truly the perfect person for this event.
