He’s been a friend of ours for a number of years, and he’s someone we’re not only proud to call a friend, but who is a real asset to the Star Wars community. We caught up with Jez Allinson – aka the Guinness World Record holder also known as The Running Stormtrooper – at last weekend’s second Fantha Day (yes, we’re only just over 5 months old and have already held two conventions) and that interview will be coming to Fantha Tracks TV very soon, but before then here’s an update from Jez regarding what’s happening in April.

April 12th – Camden Market Treadmill Run – The Running Stormtrooper will be running a Half Marathon or so on his treadmill outside the Cyberdog at Camden Market (London) with some help from team Make A Wish and Spread A Smile. If you are in London or can make it, come along and say hi!!

April 14th – The Running Stormtrooper will be running with the Benson Striders team. This is an opportunity to run with my local club and hopefully promote the virtual run series. People will be qualifying for the 1 mile and 5 mile on the day so why not??

April 15th – The Running Stormtrooper will be running with Run Wallingford at 9am. This is an opportunity to run with my neighbours from Wallingford and hopefully promote the virtual run series. People will be qualifying for the 1 mile and 5 mile on the day so why not??

April 22nd – The London Marathon – I’m just going to have fun this time. Yes I’ve applied for the Guinness World Record again but I know I’m going to be beaten by Luke Skywalker or Darth Vader. The title is theirs for the taking. Best of luck to them both. We all do it for charity so everyone is a winner. It’s all good. My focus is on the 100km run.

April 28th – The Running Stormtrooper will be attending Echo Live in Redditch. The plan being to run at least a Half Marathon on a treadmill and promote the Virtual Run Series.

April 29th – The Running Stormtrooper will be attending and supporting the 5th Treehouse 5K and 10K Family Bunny Run at 10am.

Be sure to head on over to his Facebook page for what Jez has planned in May (it’s HUGE!) and a lot more news besides including details of the Virtual Run and the 100 Km Last Stormtrooper Run.
