Walt Disney Studios Paris Expansion Begins To Take Shape

DLP Report have some drone shots of the new Walt Disney Studios Paris expansion, which will of course include a Star Wars land.

Three new areas are being built themed around Marvel – Avengers Campus, the Star Wars saga – Galaxy’s Edge, and the animated Movie Frozen – Arendelle: World of Frozen.  Work started in 2019 and covers 31ha.  Star Wars is expected to be in phase two of the build.

Details of what the Star Wars land will include remain sketchy, but rumours suggest a 2024 or 2025 opening, a new 300 seater restaurant, new stores, new meet & greets, and that at least one ride – thought to be Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance will be ported to the Paris park.
