Coming off the back of her super role as L3-37 in Solo: A Star Wars Story and her work on the frankly magnificent Killing Eve, Phoebe Waller-Bridge now sees fellow Star Wars actor Domhnall Gleeson join her new series Run. The pilot will see Gleeson play Billy, a life guru from a wealthy Irish family.

Run‘ centers on Ruby, a woman living a humdrum existence who one day gets a text inviting her to fulfill a youthful pact, promising true love and self-reinvention, by stepping out of her life to take a journey with her oldest flame.

The series – if it goes beyond the pilot – would be Gleeson’s first major commitment. In this golden age of TV, when major motion picture stars are queuing up to do interesting and engaging television work, he surely won’t be the last.
