While it’s often apples and oranges comparing the perceived success of different shows (especially Star Wars projects) it seems that Andor has caught the interest of $300m worth of subscribers, meaning this more mature, thoughtful series has gripped enough people (presumably largely an older audience) that they’re subscribing not only to Star Wars programming but all of the Disney Plus offerings. Great news all-round, and one that bodes well for the second season and even more subscribers coming aboard.

Although it is quite hard to determine a series’ earnings since the money comes through subscribers, it has been estimated that Andor has crossed the $300 million mark.

Featuring Diego Luna in the central character of Cassian Andor, the series depicts a gripping political drama set in the Star Wars universe where the fight between good and evil gets blurry.

According to The Wrap (and Parrot Analytics), the iconic show has managed to pull in a total of more than $300 million in subscriber revenue for Disney+. The show has even outperformed Dave Filoni’s Ahsoka and The Book of Boba Fett, which was totally unexpected.
