So, Hollywood musical chairs. Chris Pratt is our leading man in the Jurassic World movies, a series produced by Steven Spielberg that, once upon a time, Harrison Ford was attached to (“You know who I offered Jurassic Park to?” said the worlds greatest director. “This guy. Alan Grant, Jurassic Park, right here.”)

Rumours have floated around for a number years regarding Pratt taking Ford’s place in the Spielberg directed Indiana Jones series as a younger globe-travelling archaeologist, and that was brought to Ford’s attention last night as he accepted a SAG-AFTRA award.

The 5th film finally arrives on 9th July 2021 and the presence of Pratt would be a fun and welcome addition to the series, whether it be in the guise of a younger Indy thrilling audiences in the 30’s during his classic era or a new Indy taking the hat from a predecessor much like Indy did back in 1912 when in the space of a few minutes he got the hat, the whip and the scar on his chin.

Either way, we’ve got Indy 5 coming our way with Harrison Ford and Jurassic World 3 coming 11th June 2021, so we’re in for a great summer.
